Correct value of PSV should be larger than 30 cm\/s; smaller values suggest presence of patalogy, most often resulting from atherosclerotic or fibrous lesions. In case of too high EDV value (larger than 7 cm\/s), there is a high possibility of patology related to excessive blood outflow throughout vein system.
