Prof. Jerzy Kotowicz, MD, PhD
Prof. Prof. Jerzy Kotowicz, MD, PhD is a specialist in neurology and clinical neurophysiology. Member of American Academy of Neurology and European and Polish Neurological Society. Former Head of the Neurological Clinic and Professor at the Military Medical Institute in Warsaw and former Director of the Brain Institute and Professor at the Private School of Business, Administration and Computer Technology in Warsaw. Former President of the Polish Society of Clinical Neurophysiology and President of the Warsaw Branch of the Polish Neurological Society. He was Dean and is currently Rector of the Medical University of Mazovia. Member of the Board of the Warsaw Medical Society, awarded the August Ferdinand Wolf medal and the "Gloria Medicinae" medal. Vice President of the Medical Advisory Board of the Polish Multiple Sclerosis Society, awarded with the badge "Ambassador of MS".
Prof. Prof. Jerzy Kotowicz, MD, PhD it autor and co-author of approximately 100 publications. Principal investigator in several clinical trials in multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, polyneuropathy, stroke. President of the Mazovian Regional Branch of the Polish Red Cross and member of the Central Committee of the Polish Red Cross. Retired colonel, decorated with the Gold Cross of Merit, the Knight's and Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta, many Ministry of Defence medals and the UN "In the Service of Peace" medal.
