Adrian Barzyc, MD, PhD

Adrian Barzyc, MD, PhD is a graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw, he completed his medical studies in 2021.

In 2023, he began his specialist training in urology at the Clinical Department of Urology of the Independent Public Clinical Hospital named after prof. W. Orłowski. He currently also serves as a research and teaching assistant at the Department of Experimental and Clinical Physiology of the Medical University of Warsaw, where he conducts preclinical research in the field of ischemia-reperfusion injury and teaches physiology and pathophysiology for medical students.

In the years 2020-2023 he was a participant of the WUM MD PhD training program, financed by the National Center for Research and Development (NCBR) as part of the project "Time 2 MUW didactic excellence as a development opportunity for the Medical University of Warsaw". He completed his participation in the program by defending his doctoral dissertation entitled: "The effect of intracoronary administration of diphenyliodonium and L-arginine in an acidic buffer on the size of the post-infarction scar and the occurrence of cardiac arrhythmias in rats with myocardial ischemia and reperfusion".

Additionally, he has completed numerous courses in abdominal ultrasound, thyroid and
urology.
