PATIENT BILL OF RIGHTS


I Patient Rights resulting from the direct application of the provisions of the Constitution:

  1. Everyone has the right to health protection - Article 68 paragraph 1,
  2. Every citizen has the right to equal access to health care services financed from public funds, under the conditions and to the extent specified in the applicable act - Art. 68 paragraph 2.

II Patient Rights as defined in the Act on Patients' Rights and the Patients' Rights Ombudsman of 2008.

The following information has been selected from the Act on Patients' Rights and the Patient Rights Ombudsman. The full text of the Act is available in the Journal of Laws of 2009, No. 52, item 417, as amended.

  1. The patient's right to health care services
  2. The patient's right to information
  3. The right to report adverse reactions to medicinal products
  4. The patient's right to confidentiality of information related to him/her
  5. The patient's right to consent to the provision of health services
  6. The right to respect for the patient's privacy and dignity
  7. The patient's right to medical records
  8. The patient's right to object to a doctor's opinion or decision
  9. The patient's right to respect for private and family life
  10. The patient's right to pastoral care
  11. The patient's right to keep valuables in a safe deposit box
